NLU Delhi is in All Set to Conduct AILET 2020 on 3rd May 2020 | Registration is Expected to Start from first week of January 2019

AILET 2020
The National Law University Delhi will conduct “All India Law Entrance Test–2020 (AILET–2020)”for admission to Five Year B.A.LL.B. (Hons.), LL.M. and Ph.D. Programmes on Sunday, May 3, 2019 from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM at various test centres across the country. The admission notice is expected to issue in the first week of January 2019 and the Online Application Forms is expected to be available on the University website http://nludelhi.ac.in from first week of January 2020.

AILET 2020 Exam Centre:
Admission to B.A.LL.B. (Hons.), LL.M. and Ph.D. Programmes will be through AILET to be conducted at Bangalore, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Cochin, Cuttack, Delhi, Gandhinagar, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Jodhpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Patna, Raipur, and Varanasi on May 3, 2019 (Sunday).
AILET 2020 Eligibility Criteria:
B.A.LL.B. (Hons.)- Five-Year Programme
Eligibility: Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2 System) or Equivalent Examination with 50% marks. The candidates appearing in the 12th standard examination in March/April, 2020 can also apply.
Total Seats: 80 [70 Seats on merit through All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) and 10 Seats for direct admission to Foreign Nationals on merit (5 seats for Foreign Nationals & 5 seats for OCI/PIO)]. Foreign Nationals are exempted from AILET. Foreign Nationals to be eligible should have obtained 65% marks in the qualifying examination.
Reservation: 15% for SC candidates, 7.5% for ST candidates and 5% for Persons with Disabilities.
Note: One additional supernumerary seat for Kashmiri Migrants. Two additional supernumerary seats for Residents of Jammu & Kashmir.
LL.M.-One-Year Programme
Eligibility: LL.B. or an Equivalent Law Degree with 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/ Persons with Disabilities). The candidates appearing in final year LL.B. Examination in April/May, 2019 can also apply.
Total Seats: 80 [70 Seats on merit through All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) and 10 Seats for direct admission to Foreign Nationals on merit (5 seats for Foreign Nationals & 5 seats for OCI/PIO)]. Foreign Nationals are exempted from AILET (No. of seats may vary)

AILET 2020 Application Fees:
Interested candidates should apply only online on payment of Rs.3,050/- (Rupees Three Thousand Fifty Only) for General Category Candidates, Rs.1,050/- (Rupees One thousand Fifty only) in case of SC/ST and Persons with Disabilities (PD) along with copy of requisite Caste/Persons with Disabilities Certificate. Below Poverty Line (BPL) applicants of SC/ST Category are exempted from application fee. AILET 2020 Apply Online:
The candidates should apply only online for admission through: http://nludelhi.admissionhelp.com, http://www.nludelhi.ac.in up to April, 2019. The admit cards expected to be available online w.e.f. April, 2019 on the above websites.

>>Exam time will be of 1 hour and 30 minutes.

>> For every correct answer 1 mark will be awarded.
>>For every wrong answer 0.25 marks will be deducted.
Mathematics:
This section will test the candidate's knowledge on elementary mathematics, i.e., maths taught upto 10th Class/Standard.
English:
English section will include the questions from vocabulary, synonyms, antonyms, word usage, Para jumble, grammar, reading comprehension and foreign words/ phrases etc.
Legal Aptitude:
In this section important topics are strict liability, law of crimes, torts, vicarious liability, contracts and constitutional law, legal awareness and international law etc.
Reasoning:
Logical reasoning will be based on the topics series, directions, syllogism, analogies, blood relations, critical reasoning and etc.
GK and Current Affairs:
This section will includes the questions from current affairs, sports, awards and honors, internal events, UN bodies, history, general science, economics, geography, civics, eminent personalities and etc.
