- This exam is conducted every year to recruit the candidates for the post of clerk by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection.
- IBPS Clerk Examination is conducted in two phases, prelims exam and mains exam.
- There are three sections in the IBPS Clerk prelims exam namely Quantitative Aptitude, 35 questions (35 marks),English Language, 30 question (30 marks), Reasoning Ability, 35 questions (35 marks) Total Time duration-60 minutes.
- There are four sections in the IBPS Clerk mains exam namely General/Financial Awareness 50 questions (50 marks),English Language 40 questions (40 marks), Reasoning Ability 50 questions (60 marks), Quantitative Aptitude 50 questions (50 marks).Time duration- 2 hours.
- Marks obtained by the candidates in the Mains examination will be considered for shortlisting for final merit list.
- Negative marking:- 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
