Points to Note:
Ajay Mandhra, a boy from Naxal-affected Malakangiri district of Odisha, was a part of the Indian men's Kho Kho team that won a gold medal after defeating England in final of the first International Kho Kho tournament held in London from 1st to 4th September.

The first-ever BIMSTEC (Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multi-Sectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation) military anti-terror exercise slated to be held in Maharashtra's Pune between September 10 to September 16.
