*India Vs England Test Sereis 2018: India lose the final match of the series by 118 runs, lose the series 1-4.

*India Vs England Test Sereis 2018: Rishabh Pant scores his first test century.

*India Vs England Test Sereis 2018:: KL Rahul scores his 5th test century.

*Washington, D.C. mayor declares state of emergency ahead of Hurricane Florence.

*The first tripartite meeting of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of India was held at the Deputy Foreign Minister level in Afghanistan's Kabul, today(11.09.2018). The three sides agreed to hold next round of consultation in India in 2019.

*Former world champion Kimi Raikkonen will be leaving Formula One team Scuderia Ferrari at the end of the 2018 season.

*PM Modi announced increase in the honorarium given to Anganwadi workers. Those receiving Rs 3000 so far, would  now receive Rs 4500. Similarly those receiving Rs 2200, would now get Rs 3500.  The honorarium for Anganwadi helpers has also been increased from Rs 1500 to Rs 2250.

*PM Modi announced the doubling of routine incentives given by the Union Government to ASHA workers. In addition, all ASHA workers and their helpers would be provided free insurance cover under Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana and Prime Minister Suraksha Bima Yojana.
