Games will be given Rs 50 Lakh,silver medal winners will be given Rs 30
Lakh&bronze medal winners will be given Rs 20 Lakh. They'll also be offered
jobs as gazetted officers.
Madhya
Pradesh government has announced Rs 75 lakh for Asian Games silver medalist
Archer Muskan Kirar.
Haryana
Government will give Rs 3 crore to gold medal winners, Rs 1.5 crore to silver
&Rs 75 lakhs to bronze medal winners in Asian Games 2018. Government also
will offer HPS(Haryana Police Services) or HCS( Haryana civil services) job to
gold medalists & class 1 Govt job to silver medalists in Asian Games 2018.

Minister Narendra Modi to Visit Nepal:
Prime
Minister Narendra Modi will be in Kathmandu on a 2-day visit on Aug 30-31 to
participate in 4th BIMSTEC Summit. He
will have interactions with leaders of BIMSTEC to further enrich regional
cooperation,enhance trade ties & advance collective efforts to build
peaceful Bay of Bengal region.
Union Cabinet approves an additional 2% hike:
Union
Cabinet approves an additional 2% hike in dearness allowance for central
government employees with effect from 1st July 2018.

RBI Annual
report for the year 2017-18 states,"Implementation of GST achieved another
important milestone towards an efficient indirect tax structure. On the
