Comparison of Two Quadratic Equations
Quadratic Equation I: 48p2+14p+1=0

Quadratic Equation II: 17q2+20q+3=0

First Solve Quadratic Equation I: 48p2+14p+1=0
48p2+14p+1=0
48p2+8p+6p+1=0
8p(6p+1)+1(6p+1)=0
(8p+1)(6p+1)=0
Here, p=-1/8 = -0.125 and -1/6 = -0.166
Now Solve Quadratic Equation II: 17q2+20q+3=0
17q2+20q+3=0
17q2+17q+3q+3=0
17q(q+1)+3(q+1)=0
(17q+3)(q+1)=0
Here, q=-3/17=-0.176 and -1

Now Do Comparison,
-0.125>-0.176 means p>q __________(a)
-0.125>-1 means p>q _____________(b)
-0.166>-0.176 means p>q _____________(c)
-0.166>-1 means p>q ____________(d)

On, combining (a), (b), (c) and (d), we get
p>q is the answer.
